Were so lucky to have found this gem a day after we arrived in Galveston. I am all about coffee and nothing about Staryucks. This place was very cool and had a nice atmosphere and outdoor seating. If I ever come back to Galveston (we were here for a dance competition from Missouri) I know where my first stop will be!

They just reopened after the downtown flooding and had limited service and space, but were doing a fantastic job of compensating. The community was giving one of their favorite Galveston spots good customer support. and, of course, the coffee is it's usual best. Good job, Mod!

The coffee is great here! We also had the feta and sausage scone, the carrot cake cookie and the power bar. They were all so good. Great customer service as well. Our go to for coffee when we are in Galveston.

The best coffee and tea in Galveston. The staff is awesome too. You really can't ruffle them. They are so sweet.

I'm starting to make this fabulous shop a habit almost every morning!

And the Trust Me Latte got me hooked...

The Cafe Diablo is amazing good! I had it iced recently, which is delicious as well! The atmosphere is fun and inviting! It’s one of the best places to sit and relax!

Thank you so much for the amazing donation to Ball High Schools Appreciation Breakfast! It means so much to know that local businesses support our schools in times of need. Almost everything was eaten by 2 pm. Thank you for helping to make the staff at Ball High and GISD’s Police Department very much appreciated!

Sometimes I just leave it up to MOD to fix the coffee for me... no decisions... the Trustful Mystery Coffee.... it was super yum!

So happy I finally went! Felt like coming home, away from home. Such great atmosphere. I got a hot dirty chai and the zucchini bread, extremely good. Can't wait to come back and try another of your lovely concoctions. ��

One of only two places I've been to in the US that I'm not tempted to put sugar in my cappuccino. A couple of staff members came by and said hi while I was talking to my friend and they were so sincere and polite I want to come back again -- but they're an hour away from me so probably next month :-)

My roommate and I go to MOD almost every week to write. We've been doing this for years and their scones, coffee, and customer service are what keep us coming back. When you're at MOD you're surrounded by the warmth and charm of Galveston. Plus, really, the coffee is the best on the island.

I really like this quaint little coffee shop! ☕️



You can sit inside or you can sit outside and enjoy a quiet cup. They have wifi, if you need it and a nice variety of different flavors of coffee and other drinks. You should check it out!

Great staff, great beverages and the hummus was excellent. Sat under the awning out front and was very surprised how much cooler it seemed even in the heat of the day.

Better than starbucks hands down. Very smooth and not too sweet. I got the iced carmel dream and my friend got the iced milkyway!! We were visiting from kingwood for a girlfriends birthday weekend and needed some coffee so we found this gem. The atmosphere, delicious coffee and outside seating is awesome !! Will be back anytime in need of a caffine fix on the island. ❤

Best place in town to meet with friends or colleagues or enjoy some alone time with a cup of coffee and a delicious snack. Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable space, community-oriented people.

Awesome coffee! Get there early for breakfast items, limited supply of bagels. 12/16/17 We had the survivor bar, it was awesome!! Artfully served lattes!
